Hey, nice write-up! I saw Think Tree about eight times when I lived in Boston 1990-93. I always brought lots of unsuspecting friends to their shows and they always loved it. Amazing live band. One minor correction -- they never played "Uncontrollable Hop" with Reznor, but they did play it. I saw them do it! A gig at the Paradise, if I recall. I also saw them play a show with Morphine as a then-unknown opening act. Another time the opener was Mary Lou Lord, still just a busker from Harvard Square. Their shows were unreal, futuristic funk and industrial grind. At one show they had to ask the light guy to keep it dim because their synth-bank kept tripping the circuit breakers. Them's were the days.

Hey JR! Thanks for the love and for keeping Boston bubblin' all these years. I still buy your records every time I see them (and you should too dear reader). Someday, maybe I'll have a complete set of doubles! ;-) A dude can dream anyway.
